In this section, we’ll answer the most common questions about creating games in Roblox Studio. Certain elements may vary, but the editing tools and general steps remain the same. Note: Creating other types of games in Roblox Studio isn’t any different from creating an Obby game. Click “Create Place” and wait for a reply from the Roblox team.Name your game, select its genre, and add a game description for admins and Roblox users.Click “File” located at the upper-left corner of your screen.To publish your game on Roblox, you have to send it to the Roblox admin team for evaluation first. If it works correctly, move on to the next section – publishing your game. From the menu at the top of your screen, navigate to the “Test” tab.Follow the instructions below to do that: Now that all of the game elements are in place according to your preference, it’s time to test your game. Optionally, select additional elements from the left sidebar, such as pine trees, bricks, and others.To add red platforms that players have to avoid, click “Collisions” at the top of your screen and place the platform where you wish.Optionally, click “Part” from the menu at the top to add a new platform.To add regular platforms, copy and paste existing ones using a keyboard screenshot or “Copy” and “Paste” buttons from the editor menu.Optionally, you can simply drag elements while holding the left mouse button.

To change the position of an element, click “Move” or “Rotate” at the top of your screen.

To change the size of an element, select “Scale” from the menu at the top of your screen.

To change its color, click “Color” from the menu at the top of your screen and select the one you like.

Click on any of the elements, for example, one of the platforms.Click “TimeOfDay” and set the desired time. Then, click “Properties – Lighting,” and scroll down to the “Data” section. To switch it to nighttime, select “Lighting” from the right sidebar. By default, there’s daylight in the game.
